To measure distances on the project building

Click the Distance icon.
The Measure distance tool settings appear.
- Snap to the front wall corner in a room, at the floor level.

Snap to the other corner of the room along the same wall.
The distance between the two points is displayed. The projected and true values are equal since there were only two points selected. The delta will display a change in the X direction only.

Without resetting, continue by snapping to another corner in the same room, at the floor level.
The total sum of distances between the first two points and the third point is displayed in the Total > True field. There is also a change in the Y direction in addition to the previous X direction change. This is displayed in the Delta > Y field.

Continue without resetting, and snap to the top corner above the last point selected (in the same room), at the ceiling level.
In addition to the true and projected distance and totals, the Delta > Z field now reports a change. The change is equal to the room ceiling height.
- Reset to clear the Measure distance tool settings.
